The mission of the ZNZ is to promote neuroscience research at ETH and the University of Zurich by
- increasing scientific interaction between and among basic, applied and clinical research groups
- improving the mutual utilization of infrastructure
- fostering training by master and doctoral training
- providing financial support
- establishing and improving relations to other research centers, patient advocacy groups, universities and industry
- enhancing public awareness of neuroscience research
