The ZNZ has limited funds available to finance student travel expenses to conferences and meetings. The following rules apply:
Costs of transportation and registration fees for congresses, symposia, workshops or courses can be reimbursed. Economy class flights, 2nd class railway and public bus/subway journeys (no taxis) will be reimbursed after the trip. We do not pay for accommodation. Air travel, particularly short distance, should be avoided whenever possible.
Application deadlines (= latest possible submission date):

The ZNZ will notify the applicant shortly after receiving the application form about the decision. The grants will be allocated on a 'first come - first served' basis, subject to the above rules and availability of funds for that particular period.
For reimbursement we require the original travel tickets (incl. boarding passes) and invoices together with the confirmation from your Institute after the trip.
Reimbursement claims must be made within three months after the trip. After this period reimbursement cannot be claimed.
